VICIOS ITALIANOS (ITALIAN VICES) IS A RESTAURANT GROUP WITH MORE THAN 10 YEARS EXPERIENCE OF CREATING ITALIAN GASTRONOMIC CONCEPTS, ROOTED IN MEDITERRANEAN CULTURE BUT REVEALING A CREATIVE APPROACH.

 

 

 

Once upon a time, a group of friends from Italy and Belgium crossed paths in their respective personal and professional adventures in Orlando, Mexico City and London. In those far flung places, the germ of an idea was sown which, right here in the Valencian town of Cullera, developed into the beginnings of a business initiative. And the story continues to this day…

 

 

 

 

A PASSION FOR PASTA

The first chapter in the Vicios Italianos saga is the La Pappardella restaurant at the foot of the iconic Valencia landmark, the Miguelete.

Next came the Al Pomodoro restaurant, also located in the centre of Valencia, at 22 calle del Mar.

Other projects

The restaurants were followed by other projects in the same industry. Of these, the most notable is Il Magazzino, a wholesaler of Italian specialities to professionals in the restaurant and hospitality trade.

 

Another recent project and expanding business venture is the Sorsi e Morsi brand. This is an innovative franchising concept centred on pasta and design, which boasts two restaurants in Valencia: one in Alameda and the other in the Ruzafa neighbourhood.

AUTHENTICALLY ITALIAN, NOT TYPICALLY ITALIAN

This is what has characterised Vicios Italianos and its restaurants from the very beginning. Because Italy is much more than macaroni bolognese and a margherita pizza. Though worthy classics, these dishes are nevertheless something of a stereotype of what is an extremely creative and 100% Mediterranean cultural reality. And when we incorporate the energy of Spanish culture with our Italian roots, the result is unique and captivating.
